●INFINI connects its 17,000 Infini Linx Plus users with NDC contents.
●INFINI is the first GDS in Japan to provide one-stop shopping for Full Service Carrier (FSC) and Low
Cost Carrier (LCC) contents in a Japanese-language booking solution.
INFINI Travel Information, Inc. (INFINI-HDQ: Tokyo, Japan: CEO-Kimio Uemura, Capital: JPY 4 billion, Ownership: 60% ANA Holdings Inc. / 40% Everest Investment Holdings Limited) announced the next stage of its New Distribution Capability (NDC) product line-up with the commercial release of NDC contents via its mainstay reservation system product, “INFINI LINX PLUS”.
Infini is the first GDS to deliver NDC contents via a dedicated reservation solution in Japan. With this product launch, small and mid-size travel agents users can access NDC-compliant Full Service Carrier (FSC) and Low Cost Carrier (LCC) contents and create travel arrangements using all NDC-compliant airlines in the INFINI system.
Travel agencies can also take advantage of the new features (noted below) simply by updating their existing INFINI LINX PLUS version:
＜NDC "Low Fare Search GUI"＞
The highlight of this newest release is the "Low Fare Search GUI”, which is designed to let travel agents simply combine NDC-compliant LCC and FSC airline contents in a single reservation screen. The streamlined function expedites the reservation process and increases travel agents’ productivity. Additionally, airlines considering NDC can be assured that they can differentiate and display the full value of their flight product in the Japan market.
As number of NDC-compliant airlines and the volume of NDC fare content expands, Infini's "Low Fare Search GUI" will automatically adjust and update those unique contents to make sure that each airline’s NDC sales strategy is accurately reflected in our displayed contents.
< INFINI LINX PLUS New “NDC Features”>
1. Enables search and travel arrangements with all INFINI connected airlines (FSCs and LCCs)
2. Enhances airline contents search options
3. Expedites search process with effective filters to narrow down search results quickly.
4. Provides a user-friendly GUI reservation display
